Inconel® Fasteners

Inconel®, a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy, exhibits high strength, toughness, and good corrosion resistance in temperatures from cryogenic to 2200°F. It is available in a range of grades, offering different strength and corrosion resistance. The most common grades used for bolts and fasteners are Inconel® 625 and Inconel® 718.
Inconel® 625 is the most popular grade It has high oxidation resistance, high strength and creep resistance, and high corrosion resistance. It is resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. Inconel® 718 is a hardenable alloy that exhibits excellent corrosion resistance and strength. It performs well at elevated temperatures and is twice as strong as Inconel® 625.

Inconel® is used for a wide range of applications, including low temperature to high-temperature processing, highly corrosive electronics manufacturing, turbines, pumps, chemical processing, oil & gas processing, and offshore operations. The nickel and chromium in the alloy provide protection against oxidation and the nickel and molybdenum provide protection in non-oxidizing environments.

We supply Inconel® fasteners such as U-bolts, round U-bolts, square U-bolts, long tangent U-bolts, J U-boltseye boltsanchor bolts, S-hooks, and specialty bolts.

  • U-bolts – Available in round, square, long tangent, and J-bolt variations
  • Eye bolts – Engineered for structural and mechanical applications
  • Anchor bolts – Designed for secure installations in extreme environments
  • S-hooks – Ideal for marine and industrial fastening needs
  • Specialty bolts – Custom-fabricated to meet unique customer specifications

Inconel®: The Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum Alloy for Extreme Conditions

Inconel® is a high-performance nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy renowned for its exceptional strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance across a wide temperature range—from cryogenic conditions to 2200°F. This versatile alloy is available in multiple grades, each offering unique combinations of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance to suit specific industrial applications.

Key Grades of Inconel®

We provide Inconel® fasteners in a variety of grades tailored for high-stress, high-temperature environments:

  • Inconel® 625
    • High oxidation resistance for marine and chemical processing applications
    • Superior strength and creep resistance, reducing material degradation over time
    • Highly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion, making it ideal for aggressive environments
  • Inconel® 718
    • Precipitation-hardenable alloy with exceptional mechanical strength
    • Twice the strength of Inconel® 625, suited for aerospace and high-temperature industrial applications
    • Outstanding corrosion resistance, enabling long-term durability in harsh settings

Applications of Inconel®

Inconel® is engineered to withstand extreme conditions, making it indispensable in industries requiring reliable performance under high stress and corrosive environments:

  • Low-Temperature to High-Temperature Processing – Suitable for cryogenic systems and high-temperature operations
  • Electronics Manufacturing – Performs well in highly corrosive environments during production
  • Turbines and Pumps – Used in components exposed to high temperatures and mechanical stress
  • Chemical Processing – Ideal for handling aggressive chemicals and corrosive substances
  • Oil & Gas Processing – Resistant to oxidation and non-oxidizing environments, making it valuable for pipelines and offshore operations
  • Aerospace – Ensures structural integrity in high-temperature systems, such as jet engines and gas turbines
The nickel and chromium content in Inconel® provides robust protection against oxidation, while nickel and molybdenum enhance its resistance in non-oxidizing environments, ensuring exceptional longevity across demanding applications.
